We love working in a child's natural environment and there is no better way help a child who is struggling at home, daycare, or going to the grocery store, than working in those environments. We offer services in our Albuquerque clinic, as well as in homes, private schools, and community settings, depending on the family’s needs.
We are a private-pay clinic and do not bill insurance directly. We use a package model that offers flexibility and transparency. Upon request, we can provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
This means that even without using your insurance benefits you will typically pay less for therapy compared to other clinics without worry about meeting your deductible before benefits begin. In this model, you are not subject to therapy caps that your insurance company imposes. Additionally, you can still utilize your out-of-network insurance benefits and pay an even smaller portion by submitting our receipt to your insurance company (known as a superbill) which allows you to seek reimbursement in accordance with your plan's details.
All payments are accepted via our HIPAA compliant payment processor called IvyPay. When you call to schedule your child's initial evaluation or you enroll them in a developmental class, a text message will be sent to you from IvyPay where you will input your credit card information or your HSA or FSA information on file. Your card will be charged monthly according to the package you have chosen.
Yes. Evaluations are a critical part of care. It lets your therapist and you know in what areas your child is excelling and what areas they would benefit from support. Treatment planning including frequency, duration and therapy goals are all based off of the results of the evaluation. If an evaluation has been completed by a different therapy practice in the past 6 months, we may be able to use their report to tailor treatment to the needs of your child. Otherwise, an initial evaluation is the first step in establishing care with Arrows Developmental Support and Pediatric Therapy Services.
